About Me

Hello everyone, this is Jonathan Cole. I work as an IT contractor based out of Vicenza, Italy where I currently specialize in electronic security systems engineering support for the local military assets in the region, though my major experience is in satellite communications.

Collegiately, this is my second to last class before finishing a BA degree in Asian Studies and I have a AA in Italian Studies pending award as well. My geographic background is fairly diverse, having spent some time living in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe (as well as several short-term deployments throughout Africa). All of the traveling has led to a minor background in linguistics, though my knowledge of any foreign language is not as developed as I'd like. The general rule is the more you learn, the less you realize that you know.

I am married to a wonderful wife and will have my first child due around April 25th this year.
